Q: How much are tickets?
A. There is no admission fee, however please bring some money to support the restaurants and beverage vendors.
Q. When is the main event?
A. Bands are scheduled to start playing Friday evening at or around 6:00 p.m and the main event starts Saturday at 12:00 noon.
Q: Where is Mammoth Rocks Taste of the Sierra held?
A: In the Village at Mammoth at the north end of Minaret Road
Q: Where can I stay?
A: Look at our Lodging Partners page for "Mammoth Rocks" packages or check out the Chamber of Commerce link for those offering "specials".
There are countless lodging options outside Mammoth Lakes, too. For example, check out the unique fishing village of nearby June Lake, about 20 minutes north of Mammoth. There are also various state, local and private camping locations throughout town.
Q: How much is the food?
A: The participating restaurants are encouraged to offer a variety of food tastings ranging from $1.00 to $4.00. Some may also offer a more complete portion and priced accordingly.

Q: What type of music is played at Mammoth Rocks
A: Mainstream Rock and Roll covering the last 4 decades, primarily the 70's and 80's.

Q. Where do I park?
A. Please take advantage of the public transportation/trolley service. The Village is a "hub" and one can arrive at the Village from nearly anywhere in town. If you must drive, the main parking area for the Village is located on the east side of Minaret across from the Village. Additional parking is available on Minaret, south of Main. Caution; Do not park on town streets strictly designated as no parking.
Q. May I bring alcoholic beverages into the event?
A. No. Only non alcoholic beverages are permitted.
Q. May I bring in chairs for the event?
A. Yes, but no taller that 18 inches please.
Q. Can I bring my dog?
A. Yes, but leash laws are in place.
Q. Is this a family friendly event?
A. Yes. Kids activities are in the planning stages (but the event has no plans of providing licensed child care).
