About the Chamber
The Chamber does the things most people think just happen.
WHAT WE ARE:
The Mammoth Lakes Chamber of Commerce is a privately-funded business and professional membership organization. As a special interest group for business, the Chamber provides a host of programs and services designed to advocate for business interests, stimulating local business growth and prosperity.
THE MISSION:
The mission of the Mammoth Lakes Chamber of Commerce is to enhance the ability of our members to achieve success, to unite the business community, and to involve the entire community in responsibly promoting the overall economic health of Mammoth.
In keeping with our Mission Statements goals, the Chamber works closely with The Mammoth Lakes Tourism and the Town of Mammoth Lakes to promote local businesses nationally and internationally. Examples of our community projects are: Town Clean-Up, Fourth of July Parade, Bluesapolooza, Mammoth Rocks, Oktoberfest, Candidate Forums, various fishing derbies and the Children's Fishing Festival.
THE BOARD:
The Mammoth Lakes Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary, business oriented organization governed by a Board of Directors.
The Board of Directors consists of 11 voting and 14 ex-officio members. These members come from various segments of government, public services and the community at large. The Board of Directors is elected by all members of the Chamber of Commerce.
