MONO COUNCIL FOR THE ARTS AND MAMMOTH LAKES THEATRE COMPANY ANNOUNCE
THE FIRST ALL-ARTS MEETING OF 2007
Mammoth Lakes , CA All Arts organizations in Mono County
are invited to attend a meeting Tuesday afternoon, January 16th at
3:00 p.m. at the Ski Museum . Gaye Mueller, of the Mono Council for
the Arts, and Shira Dubrovner and Juliana Olinka, of the Mammoth Lakes
Theatre Company, plan to use the meeting to introduce the two new
organizations to the local Arts community. In addition, they invite
discussion about ways to expand and enhance Arts within Mammoth Lakes
and the entire Eastern Sierra community.
"We've been talking about this happening for quite some
time," said Mueller. "Now that it is happening I couldn't be
happier." Discussion has taken place for a while about how best to
assess the needs of the Arts in the Easter Sierras. The arrival of
the Mono Council for the Arts and the Mammoth Lakes Theatre Company
presents the ideal opportunity for beginning the year with everyone in
the same room chatting about how best to cooperate to enhance and
expand the arts life within the area.
Attendees are asked to bring business cards for a card
exchange amongst all attendees. In addition, if anyone has an agenda

"Shira and I are excited to be working with Gaye, the
Sierra Classic Theatre and other groups within the Mammoth Lakes

the strength we can all bring to the local Arts Community by meeting
and strategizing together."

MAMMOTH LAKES THEATRE COMPANY ANNOUNCES ITS BOARD OF DIRECTORS
AND FIRST FUNDRAISERAN EVENING OF LEGENDS AND LOVE SONGS
Mammoth Lakes, CA Mammoth Lakes Theatre Company (MLTC) is proud to announce the names of its Board of Directors, all community leaders from the area. Neil McCarroll, Sandra DiDomizio and Rochelle Hair have each graciously agreed to serve on the very first Board of Directors during the initial, formative year of the Mammoth Lakes Theatre Company.
Im thrilled to have such experienced and talented members of the community assisting me this first year, said Shira Dubrovner, Artistic Director. Returning to Mammoth after an absence of 16 years, I both needed and wanted the assistance of people who could help make this venture a success. I know that with the guidance and support of Neil, Sandra and Rochelle, Mammoth Lakes will have a thriving live performance space.
In addition to announcing the Board of Directors, MLTC is excited to announce its first fundraiser. Titled Legends and Love Songs, the dinner and show event is planned for Valentines Day, Wednesday evening February 14th with time, cost and location to be confirmed shortly. Legends and Love Songs features the talents of Wayland Pickard, 2006 winner of the Los Angeles ADA Award as Best Actor, Musical. The show features Pickards award-winning piano performances as Liberace, Elton John and Billy Joel, among others. The community is invited to share a romantic evening of entertainment that also benefits the revitalization of the MLTC space at 549 Old Mammoth Road.
The purpose of Mammoth Lakes Theatre Company, a non-profit corporation, is to develop, maintain and nurture live theatre and other arts in the Mono/Inyo County area by providing creative space; producing live theatre of the highest caliber, equal to any theatre in the state, and inspiring the arts while making a vital contribution to the communitys economy, culture and spirit.
