The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) provides airport security for more than 450 airports across the U.S. and its territories. As a Transportation Security Officer (TSO), you may operate sophisticated equipment to screen baggage and cargo, perform passenger searches including pat-down searches, control terminal entry and exit points, and interact with the public to maintain an orderly secure environment while working in potentially stressful situations.
This entry-level position may be full-time or part-time and schedules will vary according to the needs of each airport. All positions include full-time federal benefits, paid training and the potential for advancement offering limitless opportunities within our Federal Government.
