The Chamber Delivers: Strategic Goals 2025-2028
In September 2024, our Chamber team and board of directors came together for a strategic planning retreat. We took a deep dive into what our members and community need most, shaping a focused roadmap for 2025 and beyond. The result? Three impactful goals centered on championing business, strengthening our workforce, and delivering real value.
1. Business Champion
In Mammoth Lakes, running a business can come with unique challenges. The Chamber provides a long list of essential tools, from starting your business to navigating local processes like tax certificates. We fund HR consultations for members, offer customer service training for both management and customer-facing staff, and advocate for your needs—from Town Council meetings to federal discussions—ensuring the voice of our business community is heard and supported.
In the coming years, we’ll strengthen our role by fostering mentorship, offering business education, and creating opportunities for collaboration. By connecting members with resources to grow revenue, scale operations, and retain employees, the Chamber aims to be your champion and build a stronger and more resilient business community.
2. Thriving Community
A resilient workforce is the backbone of our community. Over the next three years, the Chamber is committed to being a catalyst for workforce vitality. We will address critical issues like workplace education, workforce retention, and housing. By fostering local talent and equipping high school students with career opportunities through the Chamber’s job fairs and expos, mentoring businesses, and connecting B2B relationships, we aim to strengthen Mammoth’s workforce.
Revitalizing the Mammoth Community Foundation (MCF) as a self-sustaining resource for grant programs is part of this mission. We want our businesses their employees and the community to have the resources they need to thrive in the town they call home.

Our mission is to help you build and grow your business, and over the next three years, we’ll focus on enhancing programs, aligning with your needs, and highlighting how the Chamber supports local success.
