First Hour of HR Services FREE
September 1, 2026
Chamber Member Benefit: Through our partnership with CPR Consulting, Planning & Recruiting, eligible Chamber members receive one hour of HR services free per year, covered by the Mammoth Lakes Chamber of Commerce.
What Can You Use Your Hour For?
Running a business means dealing with people situations that do not always have a clear answer. Whether the issue feels urgent, confusing, uncomfortable or simply overdue, CPR can help local employers talk through the situation and identify a practical next step.
This first hour can be used to discuss questions such as:
- “I have an employee who is not showing up consistently. What should I do?”
- “I need to hire someone, but I don’t have a clear job description or onboarding process.”
- “My handbook or policies may be outdated.”
- “An employee asked for leave, I’m not sure what is required or can be done.”
- “I need to have a difficult conversation with an employee and want to approach it the right way.”
- “I’m growing my team and want to avoid HR problems later.”
- “I don’t know any California employment requirements.”
- “I want someone to look at my HR practices and tell me where to start.”
For some businesses, the right starting point may be an HR Audit, which provides a broader review of current HR practices and helps identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement. For others, the need may be a single employee issue, hiring question, policy concern, or workplace situation.
How to Use This Benefit
Chamber members can reach out directly to CPR Consulting, Planning & Recruiting through CPR’s website (https://www.cprconsultplanrecruit.com/contactcpr) or request CPR’s direct email contact from the Mammoth Lakes Chamber of Commerce (info@mlchamber.org).
During the consultation, CPR will help you discuss your HR question, identify priorities, and determine whether additional support may be helpful based on your business’s needs.
