  • 4th of July Parade Details

     

    The Mammoth Lakes Chamber of Commerce hosts the annual 4th of July Parade on Old Mammoth Road and Main Street. Everyone is invited to watch the 4th of July Parade through town on Thursday, July 4. The parade starts promptly at 11 a.m. and ends around 12:30 p.m. The route starts at the intersection of Chateau Road and Old Mammoth Road (by Salsa's Taqueria) and ends at Manzanita Road and Main Street (by A-Frame Fine Wines & Spirits). Participants are allowed to hand out candy but it cannot be thrown to spectators.

    Wear your best patriotic outfits and bring your camp chairs to enjoy the parade of floats through town! Attendance is free and all are invited.

    We encourage you to walk, bike, or use public transportation to get to the parade, as Old Mammoth Road and Main Street will be closed before & during the parade. If arriving before 9:45 a.m., you can park at the Park and Ride lot off Old Mammoth Road.

  • Parade Float Information

    The parade float application is open! Please fill out the form below and return with payment by June 20, 2019 to the Mammoth Lakes Chamber office located at 2520 Main Street, Mammoth Lakes, CA 93546 or by mail PO Box 3268, Mammoth Lakes, CA 93546.

    The 4th of July Parade is a great way to promote your business, organization, event or cause. Space is limited each year to the first 50 floats/groups to sign up. The participation fee is $35 for Chamber members and $50 for non-Chamber members. All are invited to participate!

    Read through the parade participant instructions to prepare for the parade. Email info@mammothlakeschamber.org if you have questions.

  • SAFETY NOTE: Spectators are not allowed to pass the barricades and enter the parade route at any time. Spectators are also not allowed to throw anything into the parade route, including water balloons. Thanks for helping us keep this year's parade a fun and safe celebration!

    TRAFFIC IMPACT: Chateau Road, Old Mammoth Road and Main Street will be CLOSED to traffic from 10:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 4th.
