4th of July Parade

July 4, 2022

The Mammoth Lakes Chamber of Commerce thanks the 50+  floats that participated in this year’s 4th of July Parade. This year the parade featured Carly Margulies as our Grand Marshal and the Air National Guard Band of the West Coast, a 30-piece marching band that ended the parade on a high note!

Our title sponsor this year was Mammoth Film Festival which included a fun post-parade setup with the Ghostbusters Car and Scooby Doo Mystery Machine! This year we introduced the first live stream of our parade, sponsored by Visit Mammoth allowing people to watch it from the comfort of their homes or wherever they are. In addition to the live stream, we also introduced the first-ever Hydration Station, sponsored by Mammoth Hospital. This water bar served as a place to hydrate the parade spectators and supported the use of reusable water bottles.

We just wanted to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to our sponsors. Without our amazing partners, the parade just wouldn’t be the same. Our other sponsors include Advanced Airlines, Mammoth Holistics and Coldwell Banker.

Float Competition Results

The float competition, sponsored by MAWS Transportation, was judged by five independent representatives from Chamber member businesses positioned throughout the parade route. Judges were looking for the following in floats: audience reaction, creativity, execution, guideline adherence, and float engagement.
