Meet our board
Vice Chair - Tom Parker

Tom Parker has served as Chief Executive Officer of Mammoth Hospital since 2018, bringing with him extensive experience in the healthcare industry. He began his career at 16 as a surgical orderly and later held multiple leadership roles, including Administrator of Legacy at Mount Hood Medical Center in Oregon and CEO of Snoqualmie Valley Hospital in Washington, where he improved financial performance and planned for the construction and transition to a new replacement hospital.
Parker holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Utah and dual graduate degrees—a Master’s in Hospital Administration from the University of Minnesota's School of Public Health and an MBA in Finance from the Carlson School of Business. At Mammoth Hospital, he has led the organization through significant challenges, including guiding his team through the COVID pandemic and focusing on patient and community safety. Post-pandemic, Parker engaged the board, medical staff, and management team to plan the $150 million project to replace the original hospital building to meet California's 2030 seismic regulations, slated for completion by 2028.
“The cohesiveness of the Mammoth community, combined with the beauty of the area and unlimited outdoor recreation,” Tom says, “make this an exceptional place to live and work.”
