Women in Business: Networking to Grow Your Business

You spoke and we've listened! Back by popular demand, May's Women in Business session will feature speakers on Growing Your Professional Network. We will hear from three women who have used networking to grow their businesses and careers. Following the discussion, we will give attendees a chance to network and connect with other women. Sonja Bush

Sonja spent 28 years in the telecom industry working in sales, sales management and sales/leadership training working for two different Fortune 100 companies. After the last merger/acquisition, she decided she had had enough of corporate America and began a one-year experiment at her vacation home in Mammoth Lakes.  She earned her Brokers license and has been a Realtor® for 10 years.  Understanding what is was like to be a second home owner in Mammoth combined with her extensive sales/marketing background and true passion for what she does has helped her grow her business year over year.   

When not working, Sonja enjoys spending time with her husband, John, of 39 years.  She enjoys this magical place she feels blessed to call “home" and loves everything about being outside….hiking, biking and swimming are her favorite activities.  Although on a break from some of her volunteer activities, she is passionate and has years of service with the Mammoth Mountain Host program, CASA, Guide Dogs for the Blind, Donate Life and St. Josephs Church.

Jessica moved to Mammoth Lakes five years ago after spending a year and a half in Yosemite National Park. Originally from North Carolina, she moved to the Sierra for a summer but wasn't ready to leave when that season ended. Jessica does website design and SEO for passionate small business owners and works with local and remote clients to clarify their business stories. When she's not working, she enjoys spending time outside climbing, hiking, skiing and paddling with people she loves.
