  • Chamber Committees

  • Our five committees are a great way to get involved with the programming and direction of the Chamber while growing your business network. With a time commitment of just 1 to 3 hours each month, joining a committee is a great way to help shape the Mammoth Lakes Chamber of Commerce.

Each committee has a specific area of focus:

    • Governmental Affairs Committee: This committee keeps the member business community informed of important issues through newsletters, policy reports and meetings and political events. They advocate for the best interests of Chamber members and the business community in critical decisions by government entities.

    • Ambassador Committee: The Ambassador/Membership Committee was combined to focus on the two major areas of membership recruitment and retention. The Ambassadors serve as an onboarding team, welcoming and assisting new members in getting involved. Ambassadors also provide assistance at events, ribbon cuttings and community outreach booths - creating positive first impressions on behalf of the Mammoth Lakes Chamber. Committee members provide introductions to prospective members to join the Chamber and meet with active members to survey them in order to better connect their business to Chamber resources, services and opportunities.

    • Peak Performance Program (PPP)/Services Committee: This committee oversees customer service and management training offered by the Chamber. They set goals and make logistical decisions for training programs. They keep a pulse on what kind of training area businesses need most.‚Äč

    • Events Committee: This group actively participates in creation and strategy of Chamber events. They evaluate the content, frequency and value of our events while working to connect members with hosting and sponsorship opportunities.
